Pharmacogenomics is the study of how an individual's genetic inheritance affects the body’s response to drugs. It is hoped that Pharmacogenomics will eventually lead to tailor-made drugs adapted to an individual’s own genetic make-up. This would mean greater efficacy and safety of medicinal products.
This two day practical training course will examine every aspect of Pharmacogenomics to give you a through understanding of the terminology, methodology and regulatory requirements.
Our experienced trainers will demonstrate how Pharmacogenomics is already being used in drug discovery and what barriers and challenges have emerged. The future role of Pharmacogenomics will also be discussed.
